Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 15, 2026

OntologyHub.ai ('we', 'our', 'the Service') is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we access your Google profile (name, email, profile picture), Google Calendar events (read-only), YouTube subscriptions and liked videos (read-only), and Google Contacts (read-only). When you upload a resume, we process the PDF file to extract career and skill information. All data is processed by AI (Google Gemini) to build your personal knowledge graph.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to build and maintain your personal knowledge graph, provide AI-powered insights and chat, and improve our service. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your knowledge graph is stored in Neo4j Aura (cloud graph database). Text embeddings are stored in our vector database for semantic search. All data is associated with your Google account and is accessible only to you.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time using the 'Reset' feature in the dashboard. Upon deletion, all nodes, relationships, and vector embeddings associated with your account are permanently removed.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google Cloud (OAuth, APIs), Google Gemini (AI processing), Neo4j Aura (graph storage), Vercel (frontend hosting), and Railway (backend hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), JWT-based API authentication, and per-user data isolation.
